Hi two people just texted me on my nokia lumia 520 to say they have tried to phone me but cannot get through it says the other person has hung up, any idea what it could be please?

No definitely not got that. I remember this has happened before a few months ago, don't know what I did then but it must have righted itself!

strange just asked my mum to phone me she is on o2, the call has come through okay! yet I cannot get through if I use my landline?

just noticed, right at the bottom of the menu is an option to block calls and texts from certain numbers.
it's called "call + SMS filter".
you are supposed to add numbers to the filter, but you might have switched it on by mistake (I've never noticed it before and it is "on", so maybe that is the default?).
also check something called "Notifications + Actions" as you can turn on/off notifications for apps in there.

now its working turned it off a few times. the people trying to phone me were on O2 so that is strange.
