Can I download What's App!  to my Nokia 300 handset?  If so, how do I go about doing it?  Thanks!

  2. Register and verify your phone number. If you are having trouble with verifying, check out this article.
  3. Cross your fingers and fire up WhatsApp!

I think whatsapp are trying to charge $1.99 for the service now. Not used it for a while so maybe wrong.

What's App warns before you download that as it's an "always on" service it's recommended that you have an unlimited data contract for your phone.  I don't.  What would be the data implications?  I would only be using it a few times a week and basically only with one other person.  Don't want to run up a massive extra bill!  Thanks for being patient with a relative techno novice!    :womanembarrassed:

It uses very little data unless you send large picture files or videos, so don't worry.....

dont use it to send pictures, i've been charged for the pleasure as they say it is a multi media message.

Whatsapp has nothing to do with mms my friend. It's all handled by a separate server. You won't be charged.
