Nokia Lumia 620 freezing

Hi, I bought a Lumia 620 (pay as you go) from an O2 store around a month ago.  Over the last week it keeps freezing....generally when I get a text message I can't slide up to look at it. Same with some phone calls, I can't answer them (the buttons than are normally purple for you to press..answer, ignore etc are greyed out).  I have to 're set' it by clicking the lock button on and off.

Any suggestions?  Should I return it and change to a different phone if that's even possible?

Ha ha!  Well thanks both...I'll try the factory reset and see what happens.  You're on your own with the drinks - had far too many last night.

Go for the HTC8s - seen one in the flesh and it's a lovely handset -not that I'm biased or anything
