How do I get everything (contacts, texts, photo's etc) from a Microsoft Lumia into an android Nokia 3.1?
The guides on O2 site don't cover Windows phones and I'm having to change from Micro to Nano SIM so nothing saved there.

@65omax I found this on a Google search. Not sure if it will help you, but it's worth a try:
"Windows phones have a useful 'Transfer my data' app which can import contactsas well as other things like pictures and text messages. Swipe across the Home screen to the apps list. Turn on Bluetooth on your old phone, then tap continue on your Windows phone. Tap on your old phone's name to pair them.Aug 24, 2017"
And this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/transfer-my-data/9wzdncrfj3dr?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab

Hi @65omax
Never had a windows phone but found this on Youtube and thought it may be of help in addition to @Bambino's useful tips above.

Good luck and welcome to the forum

@65omax Just realised that it was Windows to Android, as @Glory1 spotted. I've also found these links:

We have a handy community guide here to help too https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Backing-up-your-phone/bc-p/1114212

Nope, really struggling here, absolutely no idea what I'm doing or why I'm doing it?
The guide above skips all the important stuff like how to actually do what I want, I've tried to follow this https://www.samsung-android-transfer.com/transfer-tips/transfer-windows-phone-to-android.html but it assumes i know how to back up my phone to one drive (what's one drive anyway?)
Why doesn't O2 publish a guide on how to do it? They sold me both phones in the 1st place.

@65omax If you're struggling with the links, I suggest that you call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby, and see if a member of staff can help you. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/guru

So far I've had 3 live chats with O2, on 2 of these they sent me links to apps that need a $30 subscription to do something that O2 should be doing F.O.C. The 3rd guy just gave up.
Nokia have sent me some info but it doesn't work either, even with sync switched on and phone backed up & reset, nothing appears in my microsoft account?
Is it beyond the abilities of 2 tech giants to perform what should be a simple every day task?
I'd better not go to an O2 shop for a few days until I've calmed down, at the moment I feel like shaking someone firmly by the throat.

@65omax Sorry to hear you've had no luck. To be honest, I wouldn't trust Live Chat to give me instructions on how to tie my shoes. Before you go to your local O2 store, call and make sure there's a guru there who will be able to assist you. In the meanwhile, I will post this link again, as it seems the most comprehensive, and should be able to help, but if not, your O2 store (in theory) should. https://gsuite.google.com/learning-center/products/mobile/switch-from-windows-phone/#!/

Is it not possible to simply use Samsung Switch for window and android by downloading the app to both phones? Or even to PC?

Not certain but just asking the question....?
