Lumia Screen Issues

Anonymous
Not applicable

My Microsoft Lumia 535 just came off battery charge, and the screen is half lit and appears to be jammed. The battery icon has a plug across it.  It wont switch off, and any taping has no effect.  What can I do - the instruction leaflet makes no mention of problem solving.

Hold vol down and power together for about 20 secs until it vibrates and reboots.

It may need a hard reset: http://www.hardreset.info/devices/microsoft/microsoft-lumia-535/

This will remove anything saved on the phone and not backed up.

If this fails to help you will have to send it in for repair.
