Insurance added without knowledge

When I originally got the phone, I declined the £12.50 insurance but I see now that it's added as a bolt on.

How could this happen and has anyone else experienced this?

What do you mean " if it's less than 14 days there should be no charges"? If I didn't want it in the first place and it was added in error there shouldn't be any charges at all

It means it wont reflect on your bill. If it's over 14 days the charges need to be credited back by CS. You will see a debit then a credit.

Good point wink

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

A couple of years ago. I think. Got 2 for daughters. Refresh. One device plan finished, insurance charge. Other device plan doesn't finish till November

Not sure if my EE phone will be able to use O2 overseas number.

It's taken you 'a couple of years' to notice that you've been charged an extra £12.50 per month?
