Hi guys,
Most customers use the notification method through the Twitter settings on their profile to alert them when they receive a message – via notification on the app or through email. The vast majority of customers who use Twitter also use the app to send and reply to tweets. The Twitter SMS service was a Twitter service, not an O2 one and they have decided to terminate it.
Also, remember, its @O2, not @ O2UK

So this is why I'm no longer getting any Twitter sms notifications then? Really handy cos I'm not always online so means I still get updates about my buses & traffic problems so going to miss it massively
