Hi

It's awful when this happens.

You can change your number free the 1st time with o2 if you wish. Just ring cs.

Do you have caller blocking in your phone. With this you can block calls and texts.

You can report this to O2 too.

http://www.o2.co.uk/help/everything-else/unwanted-calls-and-messages#qs

They won't track a number unless the police get involved due to the extent of the abuse / content.

Sadly that is something still missing from Tugo 😞

Personally I would be calling the number and telling them you are reporting them to their network for the harassment. Hopefully when TuGo is fully functional with the phone's interface and software we can finally fully block these type of bullying messages.

Possibly that would just fuel the fire by ringing them.

Typical advise is not to answer the call or answer and remain silent.

Typically the person would then get bored.

Depends how long it has gone on for. I would want to know who it is whether it fuels the fire or not. Further steps can then be taken if the need arises.

Fair point.

It also depends like you say on the nature of the call and the confidence of the person being targeted. 😞
