Things I just realised..

Was in ASDA today & found out that you don’t need a quid / token to release the trolleys from each other.

How long has that been happening? Can you tell I’m a sad lonely single basket user....

Some peoples estimation of 2m is laughable. Been queuing outside Tesco for 30 minutes.....!!

+1

On my walk this morning.. people just walking in the middle of the path, refusing to move. I've taken to walking kerbside and moving out into the road when I can... that and shouting my disapproval at those who don't bother to shuffle.

pricks!

Yeah was at Tesco yesterday.
Queuing outside was 2m (there abouts) but inside people weren't keeping their distance.
I used the scan and shop so I could try and keep to myself, but others had no idea.
Saw some that were obviously shopping together, and picking up as many as they could/wanted for some items.

If there's one thing I've realised this last few weeks is how quickly things fall apart when just one thing is removed from your life, be it a job, money or freedom (I'm sure your list will be different from mine)

I keep thinking about the money I've squandered over the years. I got an Apple Watch in November. It took a lot of dilly dallying before I actually committed. It's what I deem a luxury purchase & back then that seemed like a great deal /idea at the time, but now seems like a complete waste when money could be better spent elsewhere.

Everything I own is paid for fortunately, but I'm now horrified that friends, family & others in the world are at risk of losing their business and/or their home.

My dad used to say. 'Nor a borrower or a lender be' which I never really paid much attention to, because everybody at some point borrows, whether it be a tool from a friend or a loan from a bank.. but these last few weeks .. it's really made me wish I'd listened to the old duffer more often.

I was pretty much 'housebound' before this crisis.

However I did meet up with friends frequently, that no longer happens. Two rock and roll weekends have beeen cancelled.

My garden is the thing that upsets me a lot. All those beautiful plants going to waste at garden centres and knowing my containers will be empty this year.

I don't see my sons or grandchildren, I hate that.

Fortunately I'm not on my own but I am getting cabin fever!!

I am very lucky (at the minute) that I can work from home and that my role is still required.
Our holiday at the end of May is in doubt - nothing fancy, just a week in a caravan - but that was going to be our holiday this year.
However I know people that have had 2 weeks in Mauritius cancelled so small mercies.

...Everything has a name

A fetish where one is aroused by tying someone up or being tied up with rope or similar material - Merinthophilia

There's a quiz question if ever I heard one.
