I always think so much joy can be found in gardens nowadays, Whether you choose a wildlife garden, a container garden or whatever. It's lovely to sit outside on a nice day and 'watch life go by'.

Hear, hear! 👍🏼

Did anyone watch the Opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics yesterday?

I watched most of it and wasn't really impressed if honest.

1) It rained from start to finish

2) Most of it was done on the river Seine.

I found it very 'bitty'.

Much prefer opening ceremonies which take place in a large stadium.

The part where individuals were running with the torch looked a lonely wet run. Again not impressed.

In fact I still think the best opening ceremony was London 2012. 😊

I agree that London 2012 was splendid @Cleoriff ; only saw the highlights of Friday and it didn't really impress me either ! 👍

Good evening @MI5

Will you please accept my apology

In my post 11895 above I mentioned your granddad when I should have said your dad.

I hope his health improves quickly.
