Dads can get a bit of a rough deal when they fall ill in their mid-eighties, @MI5 - mine turned 88 earlier in July, told the family he was staying home on his birthday as his nose and eyes were running at the rate of three Kleenex an hour. Left him in peace and the next day he said he was down to one Kleenex every 90mins or so. Thankfully recovered at home, no need to go to the local hospital 👍🏻

Hope yours stays fit and has no need to return to hospital 🤞

Sounds like the NHS have been very busy with the community - my wife was in last week thanks to a flare up of Crohn's!

Pleased to say she was only in for 2 days, and glad everyone else is on the mend.

Hello @blissgirl thank you for your message 11881 above

Hope you have had a good day.

I didn't manage to go to the craft class, as I was just too tired. Try again next week.

Today has been a good day xx

Been really enjoying some garden work this week. One of my very old jasmine climbers had broken two fences, so we hacked it down, replaced fencing and sprayed it Sage Green to match the rest of the fencing.

One of my neighbours had 2 6Ft fence panels he didn't want, so my youngest son brought them here and made 2 garden boxes 5ftx2ft. We drove to the garden centre and picked up loads of compost and a few new shrubs and what a change its all made to the left hand side of our garden.

It all looks pretty good now.

I always think so much joy can be found in gardens nowadays, Whether you choose a wildlife garden, a container garden or whatever. It's lovely to sit outside on a nice day and 'watch life go by'.
