Still dull and cloudy here. Of course the sky is full of rain...
Hello @Cleoriff ... Whatever hours of sleep have been deep, dreamless, therapeutic sleep ... that kind of sleep I've been lacking for a long, long time
I was up about 5:30am ish ... because ... well, I just woke up ... fussed Marty my cat ... replenished his bici bowl + pouch cat food bowl + Whiskas cat milk bowl = he doesn't drink water from his water bowl, but enjoys drinking out of the bird bath outside as one of next door's tabby cats does
I'm still in my nightie + thick Winter fluffy dressing gown + socks + fleece bootie slippers
atm I am rubbing my left knee, both of them are painful
No pain when flat on my hard bed ... did take 2 x co-codamol though as that clump of back of the head pain won't go away without a dose of co-codamol ... paracetamol for a temperature, not to take the 2 tablets together as they each need 4 hours in my system
Sooo touching real wood of old wooden work desk which Marty is in his pet bed under the desk ... I like when he is in the same room as me ... sad to say I get about 5 minutes snuggle with him at night now then he goes off somewhere else for his night-time sleep ... bought him a new plush cat mat for the bottom of the bed ... but ... he doesn't like it or doesn't want to settle down on it
My feet are frozzen ... 16c in the house ... white cloud cover, weather forecast is sunny intervals with a gentle breeze until 3pm when the clouds will darken & rain
Time for another cuppa, tablets went down alright earlier, but now fancying a bit of brekkie

Littl'uns scamper, the big'uns fly...
Yes they do @pgn I remember one time I was alone in our apartment at night and it was hot. All windows were open as I had mesh screening. Put my book down turned off the light and I heard skitter skitter skitter. I picked up the fly swat, turned on the light and saw this thing running up the hall. When I took a lunge at at, it spread it's godawful wings and took off
Luckily I managed to bat to toward the open patio door and off it went. I slept very little for the rest of the night....!!!

One of the main causes of stress is having to deal daily with idiots.
Or similar, my own translation.

Nope. In that regard, I simply say: If the cap fits, wear it!
That was the postcard sent to me by elder daughter for Father's Day. As a trainee primary school teacher, perhaps she's a chip off the old block...
