I went to see a circus the other day and I was scared that they would be using animals. The show started, and ended. They didn't. I was relieved. So many circuses do though, sadly. There are a lot of petitions going around nowadays that ask for laws around preventing animal abuse (meaning, using animals at all) in circuses or for any form of "entertainment". Hoping these will spread fast.

It's illegal in many countries to use wild animals in circuses. Though places overseas tend to make up their own rules. Peru is one of the worst...
