Few people will see it on their phones or know anything about it, unless you are a geek or on here or ispreview...
Wonder if the Meadowhell store has been changed, as there is garbage signal in that store, they hate sending the OTP's as most dont arrive 😞

Didn't work on mine in Liverpool City Centre, still 5G NSA.
I've got a replacement eSIM this evening and will check again next time I'm in town

When you got a new eSIM, was the switch over instant…? Have you seen 5G SA coverage yet with the new eSIM?

Haven't been down to where I think coverage may be.
Suspect it is a small area. The announcement was probably more a PR exercise than anything meaningful

I think that's the case on all networks @Enlli.
On ISP review, one member has had a sniff of Vodaphone 5G SA in Belfast and that's it. And you've got guys on there who are travelling miles in search of a bit of SA and not finding it. 🤣

I have contacted customer services numerous times about this service and the required R15 sim card but I have yet to find any adviser who even knows what Iam talking about! therefore I would be interested to know what the correct channels are for obtaining an R15 sim?!

Best thing to do is not mention the R15 sim card and just ask for a replacement 5G sim card, bear in mind if you are on PAYG then you wont get on, as its a Pay Monthly only thing...
You can also pop into an o2 store and ask for a sim swap.. just take photo ID...
Also be aware that 5G SA is limited at the moment, so dont expect anything to change...

Did mine through upgrading my eSIM.
We have 5G Standalone in Liverpool but it has an extremely small footprint.
I would dash to upgrade

Same here in Sheffield... the foot print is so small, so agree I wouldnt be rushing to change sim

5G standalone is something that will undoubtedly interest me in the future. However, at the moment, 4G and 5G NSA do everything that I want to do.
Hence, 5G standalone is more of as curiosity than anything else. 😀
