Hey guys,
I hadn't realised that the Eurovision was just around the corner!
The 64th Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Center), with the first semi-final tomorrow, followed by the second semi-final on Thursday and the grand final on Saturday.
Are you looking forward to it? Do you have any fun yearly tradition around the show? What are your favourite performances and highlights from the previous years?
I used to stay up and watch it with some friends, but in recent years I have followed the highlights from various articles and social media posts instead. If some of you watch the show live this year, I'll definitely follow it through your comments

Ireland will give us 5 points. ....
No one else will. I'm ashamed of this country and their political standings in the rest of the world. 🎵Take me home country roads 🎵

Meh!
Last time I liked a winning act was probably Alexander Rybak's Fairytale, 10 years ago, despite living on the island that's won it the most times ever to-date!

So just to conclude this thread. The UK came last with just 16 points. Pathetic. (As was our entry)
The Netherlands won

The sooner we drop out of this farce of a competition the better!

Consider it practice for all the rejection letters the UK will get trying to negotiate trade deals off WTO tariffs...
Yes, yes, we're not meant to draw parallels, I know
