Yes, well, someone had to mention it ... so it may as well be me
I'm cooking this year ... with one friend coming to share the day with me, & maybe 2 more friends to come
I'll be fine once the dinner is on the table ... & having watered down rose down my neck to take the edge of the stress of cooking Christmas dinner, something I've not done for a few years
My son & future daughter-in-law will be coming over in January for my birthday & we will make a fuss of things then
What are your plans for Christmas & New Year ?

Well ... I've picked up the turkey this morning & after asking the pleasant young lady serving me, I now know how to cook a butterfly joint
I have been given a large present *no peeking* from the owners of Emi's Tea Rooms where I am frequently to be found + a large card with a 'Bambi' & robin on in a Winter Wonderland
The ordered packets of breadbuns have been picked up too sooo I reckon I'm good to go when the 25th comes
Oh & Prancer the dvd has been delivered very quickly so I've something to look forward to viewing settled on the sofa with the cat, feet up on the coffee table
