Yes, well, someone had to mention it ... so it may as well be me
I'm cooking this year ... with one friend coming to share the day with me, & maybe 2 more friends to come
I'll be fine once the dinner is on the table ... & having watered down rose down my neck to take the edge of the stress of cooking Christmas dinner, something I've not done for a few years
My son & future daughter-in-law will be coming over in January for my birthday & we will make a fuss of things then
What are your plans for Christmas & New Year ?

Aloha!
Do you guys are able to buy stuff on 25th december too? I mean... In Germany we celebrate 24th (evening) and 25. + 26. ... but on 24th the shops are still open ('til like 16 o'clock)....Does that mean UK shops are open on 25th?
We'll celebrate on 24th with mom and brother - since dad passed away we didn't wanted a tree anymore.
On 25th we'll go to a restaurant with grandpa and grandma + uncles and aunt. In the afternoon we'll visit the other grandparents.
My boyfriend has to wait until after xmas... Since he, brother and me have to work on 26th. Guess it'll be a calm shift

None of the big stores are open @ComaChameleon but you can normally find a corner shop open. They all open on the 26th for Boxing day sales though..

Boxing day shopping means good prices, or is it just the normal stuff?
