Best apps for sports?

Hey guys, 

There have been some really interesting responses to the recent app discussions that have taken place on the forums over the past few weeks. 

To keep the ball rolling we will be posting a series of threads on the best apps to use for certain interests similar to @Marjo's apps for pets thread. 

The next subject we would like to hear your thoughts on is sports apps! What kind of sporting apps do you use and what for? What are you favourites or recommendations for others and why? Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the sport apps you use or is there a "dream app" for sports that you would like but hasn't been developed yet?

right, done a little more digging.
if you watch any programme, from any channel or source (bbc, itv, sky, whoever) LIVE, then you need a license. regardless of what you watch it on (tv, tablet, phone, etc).
if you only watch catch up or through netflix/amazon prime, then you don't as you already pay a subscription charge to watch their content.

But they have absolutely NO legislation abroad. Mobdro is an app for 'worldwide' use.....and believe me it is used well in Spain....As I said I have it here in the UK for a WiFi box upstairs. I have Sky TV downstairs and I have a licence....so me...I am covered thank you very much.

As for downloading it onto your Android device....well they can't stop that either...

As regards catchup...presume that is before 01/09/2016 as that will require a licence to watch via BBC iPlayer but not the ITV, C4 and C5 equivalents.
Have you got a source ?

Hi guys,

I'm fairly sure that TV license fees also contribute to the country's broadband maintenance and improvement. On the license site (when I last updated mine) you were required to have a license if you used any kind of device that connected to the internet (or tv) and could stream content.

Yes, catch up for iPlayer only needs a license from 1st Sept. Any other provider (at the minute) doesn't need a license if you only watch catchup. If you record live and watch later then you still need a license regardless of channel.

The bit that is relevant is under "I don't have a license. What will I need to do?".

It says that if you are watching or recording ANY live TV (ie, as it is being broadcast) from ANY source ony ANY device.
