The iPhone 6 Plus has been fine. Loving the bigger screen. Defintely pleased with the choice I made. Did you decide on the 6 Plus did you mention on another thread?

Morning @Anonymous

Yes I'm 99% convinced to buy the iPhone 6 plus at the end of October.

I assume you didn't get caught with the iOS update mate ?

I still have iOS 8 installed, I wasnt aware they had been an update until I read a post on here last night. Never read about an iOS update causing that many probs before. I dont think it will be long before Apple sort it and release another update.

From the blogs ios 8.0.2 is imminent but I would exercise caution until reports bounce back that it's ok.

Could you do me a little experiment on your iPhone 6 Plus which is more really to do with iOS 8.

Load up the O2 community forum, direct Safari to request the desktop site by the pull down menu ,and attempt to add a picture in from your camera roll via O2's Rich Editor.

On mine I get as far as choosing the picture size and actual picture ,but then the little loading bar does nothing and it times out.

I remember when I bought my iPhone 5 people were hitting blogs / forums saying the black coating on the chamfered edges flaked off too easily.

Apple always like a purchaser to open their phone instore to ensure their happy with it aesthetically ,and that it boots up ok. I saw people paying particular attention to its edges.

I'm sure we'll see people paying attention to the iPhone 6 models out of the box now too and tbh it's one thing I'll check out too ,and then just get on with enjoying using it.

Yeah I'm going to do the same too re iOS 8.0.2.

I've tried what you mentioned about posting a picture.

But I too get the same results. The post image button is greyed out too, so I am unable to post the picture either.

I'd forgotten about the request desktop feature. I can remember watching the keynote about iOS 8, but I'd forgotten about it until you mentioned it. An idea for a video I think that at a later date.

Thanks @Anonymous

Glad it's just not me.

I did read that it's thought to be a bug in iOS 8 and has been sent back to Apple Feedback.

I have too.

Here's hoping ios 8.0.2 resolves it. 😄

Someone earlier asked why wasn't this discovered in testing? The answer is the same as why the "antennagate" wasn't discovered in testing.

Like many companies, Apple hide the products they are testing in the wild in cases to make them look like older iPhones or even other brands phones. This is do people in theroy won't get to see the new phone before launch.

In the "antennagate" of the iPhone 4 the case stopped the problem. In this new "bendgate" again, the case probably stopped the problem occurring.
