Hi all,

SIM was working fine when I got it, it went down the day my number changed over (9th July) and hasn't come back on since.

I've tried customer service online chat multiple times and I just get promised and assured it will be sorted by a certain date, then the date comes and goes and I still have no service and no contact about why it hasn't been sorted. This has happened 3 times.

A couple of days I haven't been able to get onto the online chat at all, once I was in the queue and kicked out after an hour and a half, today I couldn't get on at all, been trying over the last 2 hours so I'll have to go back on tomorrow in an attempt to reopen this.

I've tried Facebook and twitter (no responses to DMs or comments on posts), emailed the complaints team-nothing, and the O2 app- tried during the day but I can only access during certain times, I don't get a response within an hour and by the time I can look a couple of hours later the chat has been closed because I didn't reply quick enough.

I can't even get a SIM with another company to sort it because I can't get a PAC from O2 without service to receive a text.

Are there any other avenues I can go down? I've had no service for 11 days, can't access anything with 2 F Authentication, including personal finance accounts and all my work documents and email. I can't call as I live alone and this is my only phone.

Unfortunately there are no longer any o2 community advisors @jhurrell

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/O2-Support-advisor-update/m-p/1634920#M40122

That means that we only know about chat (which has not helped), social media (which has not really worked) or calling.

The last resort would be to raise a complaint. Link below to the page. People seem to get solutions using the Resolver option.

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Just putting the contact details here in case you haven't seen one of them:

Call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 if you were pay monthly, or 4445 or 0344 809 222 if PAYG (or use 0800 032 1402 if you have no other line, and you can use Skype for free - Guide: A Guide to Skype ).

Alternatively you can message on social media:

Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here
