why after ive paid my bill its still stating not paid yet moneys on hold in my bank?

It means O2 haven't accepted the payment yet.

@melanie5 It can take 48 hours for payment to clear O2's account. If you've only just paid, that time will probably be longer as the long Bank Holiday weekend is approaching.
If you want to avoid problems like this in the future, set up a Direct Debit when you call Payment Management.
