Hi,
I have a Samsung S8 that is operated through Giff Gaff. Had the phone since September 20 and I was previously with Tesco mobile on an older Samsung phone.
My Wife and I have a joint Greek bank account but I am unable to receive SMS texts from the Bank. Until last January ( 2020) I was receiving texts but these stopped thereafter and Tesco's operator could not resolve the issue. The Bank has confirmed that they have my correct telephone number. As far as I am aware there are no bars to international calls on the phone.
My Wife is able to operate the Bank Account but it is important that I am able to access to0.
I do receive SMS texts from other senders
Can you advise me, please

What network is your wife with?

Also a possibility that you have a premium bar on your account. In which case you need to contact O2 to remove it

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.
