I have been living abroad for 5 months and so I cancelled my o2 sim card as I was paying monthly and did not want to continue doing so abroad. Many applications on my phone require to me sign in through my phone number - which I no longer recieve texts and calls on. Is there any way to reactivate the sim card and ideally switch to pay as you go? I can be emailed on: jamieday2607**Personal info**

If you cancelled the sim card without transferring your number or by porting it to another network your number will have been lost and it won't be possible to reactivate the sim after 5 months

Worth asking customer service but be prepared to be disappointed

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this

or give them a call on 202  or 0344 809 0202

You will need to ask O2, but your chances are slim.

Would have been better moving your number to PAYG BEFORE leaving

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
