I can access my O2 perfectly fine on the web, but when I try to use the same credentials on the My O2 App, I get the following message:
Something went wrong.
Oops. My 02 isn't available to you yet. If you're new to O2, it can take up to 48 hours for your account to be ready. If it's been longer than 48 hours, get in touch and we'll look into it for you.
I've been using this SIM for over 6 months now.
I am reluctant to call customer service as I have never had a good experience with them...

Can you use https://accounts.o2.co.uk/signin?
If so delete the App and reboot the phone before reinstalling.
