I requested that with my new sim ill keep my number but my new sim came with a new number how do I change it back

New SIMs will come with a temporary number. If it is O2 to O2 then you need migration to happen

@Cavan You can do a sim swap: SIM Swap: a mini guide (incl eSim) - O2 Community

If you're not comfortable doing the swap yourself, call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby, and they'll do it for you. The process is very quick. Be sure to bring photo ID with you.
