Hi everyone,
I have an O2 Switch contract since November 2022, that includes both airtime and device payments. Last year, my phone was accidentally damaged, and I used the insurance from my bank to get it repaired. However, the device I received after the repair isn't the same one I originally bought from O2 (the IMEI number is different). It seems like I got an Apple replacement device.
To complicate things, the receipt from the repair service provided by the insurance company states that they repaired parts of the phone, but it doesn’t mention a full device replacement.
I'm now wondering how this affects my O2 switch. Since the IMEI has changed, will I still be able to use the O2 switch options? Should I do something specific to resolve this with O2?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

As the device is yours to keep after the two years it will make no difference to you taking out a new contract
