Changing contracts

Hi there my air time plan has just ended and I found a better deal through Uswitch with O2 again.  Do I need to cancel my previous plan or will it just override the old one?

You will need to contact o2 to cancel the current contract, if you want to keep your number then you will need to contact o2 to migrate your number to the new contract, once it is setup. Guide: Migration & porting into O2

The USwitch link usually takes you directly to the O2 site so choose the upgrade option from there
