Hello,

I called to change accounts and phone number yesterday. The lady said it would take within 24 hours for the number to change back to my previous number but it is still the same.

Please let me know when it will be successfully transferred

You should have received a text to your old number giving you a completion date. 
If you didn't, you need to call again to ask for the number port.
