I have an Apple iPhone 6S and in the My O2 app there is a notification (a 1 in a red circle) on the app icon and on the Support button at the bottom right of the app when I open it. It’s been there for a year and I’ve tried everything to get rid of it, opening everything I can in the Support section of the app, to no avail. How do I remove this notification?
Thanks,
Darren.

Have you tried going into the settings menu, and notifications and turning off the notifications for the app from there at all??

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes it works for the app icon notification but not for the Support button notification when I open the app. When I turn them back on the notification comes back on the app icon.

I would uninstall and then reinstall the app, as it could be the app cache that is broken.. Remember to remove all data...

Thanks again for your help. I already tried this months ago but the notification just came back when I logged in again. I’ll try again though, thank you.

Just tried again (deleting app & data) but still have the mystery notification after installing.

This has been an issue on and off for a number of years for some customers.
No amount of deleting and reinstalling works bit it usually clears with an app update when pushed out by O2.
