App and website broken for me too

I had written a piece of text explaining my problem with screen grabs and things, but when I came here to post I saw lots of people with the same problem.

The app says my "My o2 isn't available yet" and points me to the website.

When I try to log into the website I find that everything is missing from my account, no indication that I have two active accounts with them at all.

So, I imagine all I can do is pester them on X or call them.

Anyone know how easy this is to fix? to give me some idea how much effort this will take me.

Thanks.

@ThDun

It's a load of hassle!

O2 have messed up a system update which is effecting thousands of customers.

You'll need a new email address that's not been used on O2 before.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2, so we cannot access your account, sorry.

You need to contact O2.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X) (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

O2 in their infinite wisdom decided to assign thousands of redundant O2 email addresses to change customers over

Obviously not knowing the proper credentials they decided to make their own

@MI5 Thanks for the fast replies. No doubt copy paste from the last dozen replies today.

Making a new e-mail address to fix this is such a PITA I really don't want to have to do that...

At some point I also linked to my virgin account, so as long as it is just changing the login email and not a brand new account I hope it won't break that. As I remember a "this is permeant" warning, changing stuff now makes me worry.

I guess I'll jump on X tomorrow and start the process....

Thanks.
