o2 price hike

I have just received and e-mail saying 02 putting my bill up!!!! They have lost service twice this year!!!! Poultry offer of 10 per customer who could fathom out how to get it..If I wanted to lower my bill because of this service, they would have stopped my account and sent letters etc!!! Who thinks that they are wrong to put up bills during contractual service agreement, if not legally, then certain morally. I for one am sick and fed up with these companies doing whatever they want and us as their customers have no choice.  Who thinks this is wrong??? I for one will tell everyone to twitter and facebook everything. I am about to send a message to o2 asking to be released from my contract early, on principle more than anything..Please please, all do this then perhaps the high commanders at o2, whatever country they are in, may, just may listen.....

You are aware that everybody here is a o2 customer and not employed by the company don't you?

You have proven by your statement that you are not aware of Telefonica's finance situation.

Good luck with the other carriers that are all planning further price increases in the coming years.

You can use any names you like, I don't see the point but it's up to you.

The various methods of contacting O2 are in "Contact us" at the bottom of every page.

Their email address is here:

Anything else we can help you with?

Oo I love these topics.

You can quote my name whilst your at it, it won't do any good we don't work for O2.

You can phone CS on 202 from your mobile they'll help you end your contract.

If you find a company who's costs don't increase with inflation please tell us and ill be sure to bet against their continued market share:)
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

yes, I agree- I signed a contract agreeing to a certain fee per month £15.50. They have now changed the goal posts and added 50 pence per month- that they'll be taking from my account without my consent. I did not agree to this or sign up for it. Is this legal? What's to stop them doing it again and again? This is terrible!! People must strongly object!

I have my own business, family, home and three cars.

Your points are still wrong, the point on this forum is to help and discuss issues. We can not help and do not feel you have an issue.

Cancelling your contract on principle is just silly as you will be in the exact same situation with another phone carrier.

if you have two of the highest tarrif's that O2 do it will cost you a extra £5 a month for both. Most people it will cost them on average 50p a month. Again, hardly crippling and been expected for a very long time.

common sense at last lol, i agree with you wholeheartedly.....everyone keeps on about other carriers in here, i am not with another carrier and couldnt care less with what they do, my contract is with o2 and their obligation is with me.  small print is great for the supplier, not so great for the consumer. i will copy all of the coments on here to facebook and twitter, people i know do normally get all anorack'y' but they will be amazed at the people on here. i think its funny

@JoanC,

Have you read the whole post through and the rest of the posts on this subject?

You did agree to it when you took out the contract it is in the terms and conditions.

Every other phone carrier has done it already and in some instances more than once this is the first increase in years from 02.
