Hey guys, Do you know what this shipment is that is supposedly coming in today? If they are no longer shipping the 3G and they are also discontinuing the 16 and 32 3GS then what should I expect. Also anyone know what the turn around time is likely to be?

Today's shipment was a lie. Its not arriving now. If you ring o2 insure 08000121553 then there is a recorded message stating there are no phones in stock. There must be loads of people in the same boat.

I wasn't going to get the iphone 4, but when this is resolved I'm straight off to a different network with a different insurance company. I was thinking of Vodaphone, shame its the same company.

The guy I talked to on the phone did say that if there are no stock, they have been known to send you a check to upgrade. I'm not sure how that works, and that can't be valid as their terms and conditions state that they will send the next closest phone.

I rang on Sunday to lodge a claim. Was told it had all gone through ok and that they had no stock but was expected on Monday or Tueday (14th or 15th) Rang the number today to hear the pre recorded message that none in stock and that they would be in touch. Wish I'd read all this on the forum before hand 😞 Very frustrating, looks like I will be ringing and ringing to try and get a phone out of them. Mine is virtually unusable at minute due to a cracked inner screen that has gotten worse since lodging the claim. The woman on the phone told me it'd be delivered Wednesday but I've not had a claim number or anything given to me

ps has anyone managed to get the excess charged removed seeing as having to wait so long. Unfair to come off my next bill if I haven't received my phone by then

i filed a complaint today. It wouldn't be so bad if they at least gave you some sort of date, but every time you phone up it's "tomorrow", or "end of the week", which comes and goes... my contract has been up 6 months, so i'm getting the replacement and moving to orange for the iphone 4

I think it's becoming more and more apparent that the insurance company are waiting for the 8GB 3GS to be launched since it's the replacement for the 8GB 3G which is now out of production.

Unfortunately with the 8GB 3GS launching on 24/06 it's probably going to be another 10-14 days until you guys get one as a replacement.

Well I wish they would just say that. It does make a lot of sense though, since if they gave us a 16gb 3gs our insurance would be upgraded to that. Then if it happened to break then we'd be up to an iphone 4 from a 3g. Theoretically this could happen a week after launch.

I may just be getting a 3g and an iphone 4 on launch day. And the iphone 4 will never touch o2 I can promise you that. Maybe vodaphone but with 3rd party insurance, never using ACE again.

Yesterday i rang the upgrade line to see if i could pre order an iphone 4 at first they told me they were on back order, i asked her to confirm they are getting them. When she checked she said apple have informed o2 they will not be getting sent anymore 3g's (obviously new ones) as they are not being made anymore.
