@perksie. No we all have problems, but I sent o2 a simple email asking how long the signal would be down. They replied saying I would have to ask the question through a web form, taking time to fill in all my details, security etc..etc.. just to find out how long the repair to the mast would take.
Communications company??????????????????

O2 never give out that information, if it's being repaired the only thing you'll know is when it starts working again.
In other words the network teams don't tell customer services what they are doing.
Unfortunately once it's marked as being repaired you have to rely on O2 not wanting it down for any longer than necessary.

Thank you for the information.
Why couldn't O2 have said that in their reply, instead of telling me to wast time filling in all my details on a Web. form, and then still not, as you say, giving me the information.
This is the " footer" on the reply I got from them telling me that I could email them on mycare @o2mail.co.uk but when I do I get a reply to use the Web. form, what a poor way to "communcate" with your customers.
"Dear O2 Customer, Please note that this is an unmonitored email account and we will not be able to respond to your query. If you have a query about your service please visit www. o2.co.uk or email us at mailto : my care @ o2.co.uk where it will receive our attention.

We are only PASG customers but have about £135 credit on 4 Sims and for security like to keep in contact with children. I will go out and get 4 Orange Sims and see how we get on with them then slowly use the credit up on O2 when it works!!
Thanks for you information

Colin
