They could have been slightly more helpful, and not so rude![/quote

I have tried a different phone still no good. It's o2's coverage in this area as the rest of my family are with orange and they have no trouble with the signal. Having spoken to the neighbours/mums at school etc it is just 02 in this area, they have all switched to alternative companys. can't afford to buy myself out of the contract. but it is a worry that my children/and other family members/ schools are unable to contact me in an emergency. Thanx for your advice will look up case you mentioned.
Try using a different fone to see if it hangs onto signal better.
Recently their was a case where a contract can be canceled if the network is unable to provide a signal.
Google for it and see if your situation is covered.
If not then i suggest you contact o2 to see if you can drop your package down to lower the monthly cost, or if you have the disposable income then buy out of the contract. and move to a new network.
Or you could let a family member use your sim back where signal is ok and they pay you the monthly bill amount. Be wary thats its a trusted person tho !
