as i`m on a iphone tariff unlimited downlaods atm
i couldnt agree more with o2 putting a cap on now the new tariffs

everytime i want to use my phone outside of the house for downloads is crap eg when i want to use maps for a 1 off i might use it once twice a month tops

about time the heavy users got hit , if you have time to play with ya phone outside of the house for major downloads then u are a bunch of kids hanging about in parks etc

but for us thats at work most of the time and really need to get a map quick once or twice a month ya slowing us down , its happened to me this month

good on o2 putting caps on maybe it will start to speed up

but i think your 500mb should be rolled over what ever u have not used to the following month so if u use nothing for say 6 months u should have 3 gig nd so on

lol, it cant be rolled over. if you dont use it, you lose it. and if you dont use 500MB in a month, then i doubt you would use 3 Gig.

I'm using a Sony Ericsson W995 with the unlimited web deal. I don't use any more than 150 mb/ month. Why should I have to put up with the network going down and unable to cope because some selfish people stream through it constantly all day long? I'm in total agreement with it too.

I kind of agree with the principal of a cap but I think the limit is way to low for the iPhone to be of any use once out of range of wifi.

Totally agree. This 500MB cap is going to hit not just the abusers , the 3% etc, it will affect just about everyone.

On what basis do you make that claim?
