has anyone got anything good to say about O2

Anonymous

I have had nothing but lies, accusations and false promises from this company

I would like to hear from anyone (other than the people who have already replied to my other posts)

To hear from anyone who has something good to say about this company?

It can`t all be bad surely

Thanks @Toby, the OP has issues and they need resolving. It sounds like he is at the end of his tether and has turned to the community for help and to voice his displeasure. It's only right we and you try to help sort this out. Too many say they have no issues, but they are there nonetheless and we have seen that on the community, people have issues without a doubt. Until someone takes ownership of this particular problem the op thinks they are alone.

This isn't right in my opinion. The reason the same people are replying is obvious. There is a hardcore of regulars responding to every thread but there is too much positivity when we say yes, o2 are wonderful.

They aren't in some cases and so please help all you can.

I never say O2 are wonderful and problem free. There are major issues. However we were asked for our personal experiences. Mine have been good....so far....fingers crossed tongue

Therein lies the problem. We are essentially a part of the o2 hierarchy with no problems, hence why we are here and exist. The OP has a problem which need sorting and no matter how often we say they are wonderful, these days they aren't.  Apathy spreads like wildfire through a company when call centres are closing and people know they will have no job come Christmas time.

I've been with all the main networks at some time or another (and a fair few MVNOs besides), and to be honest, I think they're all capable of offering a level of service that varies from anything between excellent and shocking. It should be no surprise that people's experiences vary so much, and even accepting that O2 has regularly topped Ofcom surveys with customer satisfaction ratings of over 70%, it still overlooks the fact that more than 20% are unhappy enough to want to leave.

I've left and rejoined O2 several times over the years, often forgetting previous letdowns when a new deal comes along that proves more cost effective than the competition. Unfortunately for O2, it was that thinking that led me to take out a new contract with BT. I'm just hoping that I don't have reason to phone their customer services to complain, because I'm stuck with them for at least 12 months.

At least with PAYG it's easier to vote with your feet. wink

thanks for your feedback it is most appreciated

after a meeting with trading standards

the matter will now land in the small claims court

all phone calls and online chats were recorded including the accusation of money laundering

I can`t wait to hear their excuse (if they have one?)

Thank you

Hi again Jeff.
As this issue is now in legal proceedings, it is unwise to add more to this thread.
The advice that has already been given is the most the members here can add, the community manager @Toby has, I believe, been in contact via the pm function so that route is also an option.
I hope you get a good resolution out of this issue in the end but I don't think there's much more the community can assist with, without jeopardising any legal case you are opening.
Again, I wish you the best in this issue and hope it is not dragged on much longer for you.

Hi guys,

I have shut this thread down, as the issue the Op is facing contains personal info and should not be discussed here.

@Anonymous I shall answer your PM when I can.
