I have just had a text from o2, about the outage last week. Informing me that I will get 10% off my bill, and £10 to spend in the o2 shop in September.
Thanks very much I never even asked for anything. Nice good will offer though. Cheers

yes i think its good compensation from o2. when o2 announced that they would make it up to customers "in an o2 way" i was thinking great it will be some half price tickets for a show at the o2, when i live 600miles away!! but this seems more than fair for all.

If you received text to say will get 10% off tariff, then you do not have to request it as it will be on the September bill,  the £10 voucher will be available from 1st Sept and can spend in an o2 store during Sept.
