am having bad day

started with going to dentist for broken tooth.

got back home and in post my pension getting taxed even more.

and then get a text from o2: we're sorry, we've been charging you 20p for sending picture messages instead of 25p so were just letting you know that from 11/02/13 they will cost 25p

Email uses data so depending on your tariff you may or may not get charged. If you have data included in your tariff it's definitely free.

thanks M15 have 500 m of data on tarriff and dont use it all will give it a try see if still get charged

Have you got a fairly new phone? Just had a thought that if your phone was connecting to the old wap dial up number for data services you might get charged for the call even though you shouldn't. You need to be sure you have a standard data apn enabled on the phone.

just read up on whatsapp and a lot of friends dont have phones with large memory that seams tobe needed

You can set the whatsapp to not store vast amount of messages.

It runs fine on my old Nokia with 256mb RAM so it should be perfectly happy on just about anything.
