Heard about this in an earlier community post, but no real explanation until now:

O2 Loyalty Billing Error

Just in case you've been affected!

"But after MoneySavingExpert contacted O2 to query the charge, it now says it'll be writing to all affected customers to apologise and will be extending their loyalty discounts for another 12 months to apologise."

That will be interesting....not sure how we would ever know the truth of it?
