My Galaxy S5 phone has now been transferred toBT Mobile
Yesterday I got an OTA OS update (guess was mainly security fixes; phone already upgraded to Andriod 6.01) but this update seems that it is an 02 update - CSC Version: G900F02U1CPI1
I have my final bill from 02 which shows i have paid the final month; this month still has a week or two to run. Do I assume that because still "in contract" i wil get any 02 updates until runs out?
I assume that after end of 02 contract I will get OTA updates direct from Samsung as BT do not add their take to any OS.
Any comments please?

As the phone was provided by/through o2, they hold the IMEI in their list of phones to push any updates to (as the manufacturer gives them the update to check).
Even though the phone no longer uses their network, as it came from them they provide the OS updates.
I would imagine that Samsung would only supply updates to phones they provide directly, rather than through a network (as these would have no branding/customisation to the OS).

You would need to flash the firmware to Generic to be able to stop receiving O2 only updates and start to receive the Samsung direct ones.
