Can I just open this by saying I am specifically discussing Help Links...not Help Topics (as compiled by MI5 some months ago)
I am asking for a section where the regular members can go, to to insert a link into a reply we may be giving to a customer.
Personally, I find it very frustrating that I am unable to do this (as I have no idea where to find the right link)
This results in me NOT answering a post
I am NEVER going to be technically minded. I am not looking to go into competition with anyone in respect of technical expertise.
However, it would be nice to be able to answer a post of welcome and where necessary be able to insert the link from O2...
(I have no problem inserting links from articles etc....its the O2 ones I struggle with)
I have asked some of our senior members how they do it.. The most amazing answer I got was 'I just remember where they all are'
Some of the links that could be included in this section....
*Swap my sim
*O2 Status checker
*Contact us
*How to Complain
*Data Roaming
*Obtaining a Pac code
*Unlock form
*Leaving O2
There are many many more.
I don't want to spend my time on here just hanging around Off Topic. By the same token I dont want to try and answer a post if I am unable to provide a link when required
I would welcome any advice anyone could give me. Its open to discussion after all....:smileyhappy:

Other links, such as unlocking, PUK, SIM swap and Service checker etc can be found via Google and saved to your bookmarks during quiet periods, so you have them at the ready for the rush to help

Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

And you were the person that told me 'you remembered them all'....:smileywink:
Not being annoying here...but I happen to think if we had a 'section'.... it would be far better for folk like me.
I mean going into google and bookmarking them seems a bit of a palaver if honest. I fully expect to be taken to task if this is what you all do...
My 'rush to help' is so slow it usually results in 5 other folk getting there before I have finished typing
Oh...and I did say there were many many more. It took me 45 mins of searching last night to write down the ones I found so I could make this post....

The decision has to be made based on the OP's tone and level of irritation....
There is room for both approaches on the forum but the key to success is recognising which approach to use in the first place......

Good idea.
However I hope replies don't boil down to insertion of links and no engagement.
Makes things a little too clinical.
I wasn't even suggesting that BoB. (I always use 100 words when 3 will do )
I just want to feel a bit more useful. Not sit there thinking ooohhh err I hope someone rocks up soon and answers this WITH THE LINK
And unlike the wondrous @MI5 there is no way I will remember them

We could definitely do something for this. You've already posted some suggestions which is great, so either I (or a member if they would like!) can compile a nice informative post. In the meantime, post any other suggestions here and I'll talk to the team.
