Obtain Call History logs from old contract

Anonymous
Not applicable
I understanding may be long shot but thought asking if anyone can help...few years ago I have pay monthly contract with o2 which has been terminated back in Aug 14. I wondering if I still able to obtain copy of phone bill with detail of call logs for Aug 2011? I really need this month phone bill as it has crucial evidence of phone call I made on the 17/08/11 which may help with my personal matter?

Your only hope (but I'm not confident) is to ask CS but I suggest you call them http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

@Anonymous It's highly unlikely that there would be any record of calls you made five years ago.

Hi @Anonymous I am not sure how long O2 keep your data on calls etc...but you could apply for a Subject Access Request http://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/how-to-get-a-copy-of-the-information-we-store-about-you

I think you may need to contact customer services first to see if this is still available...http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

@Anonymous I don't think your situation is any more or less important than anyone else's. If customer service have told you they can only go back two years, then that's what it is. O2 has 23 million customers. To store the call logs for all those customers for five years wouldn't be a very efficient way for O2 to manage the data that they need to keep.
