Worst phone company in history. No signal since I signed the contract. No help. No escape without a cancellation fee. No way to contact them by phone or live chat. Scoundrels. Any suggestions welcome.

Have you upgraded your contract @Lizzyd23 ?
It might be that o2 have switched your connection to an upgraded sim which is in the post.
Call customer services on 202 (or 0344 809 0202).
