O2 Call Centre

Anonymous
Not applicable

Since yesterday lunchtime, I have called O2 a mere 57 times to try to upgrade my phone and each time been told to call back later! The online chat has also been too busy to use!! How many people work at the call centre I wonder - clearly not enough.  I also called my nearest O2 shop but they don't have and 5s in stock. I don't have the time to keep calling and frankly I have run out of patience.

Hi,

Lots of people are having issues getting through due to the iPhone launch.

Perhaps try early evening when it may be quieter.

You could e mail them to ask for a call back if that helps.

Is there any chance of anyone in the overseas call centres being able to understand English without having to repeat everything a 100 times over, might be cheaper but the service is so poor I would consider not having UK call centre staff to be a deal breaker when I renew my contract

Getting them to understand is another problem alongside getting them to take the necessary action needed....
