Thanks @MI5 strange the faq page has no mention of the date it affects o2 customers perhaps @Martin-O2 can get clarification and the faq updated if only new 1/10/2018 contracts

I ended up wearing this T-shirt. Ofcom ruling only makes the operators offer for accounts post 1st October 2018 and O2 followed that rule. I joined a few days before and guess what.....!
You can re-contract to get a cap though.
As I said at the time, for me this is a crazy one, everyone should get a cap if they ask for one.
