Very frustrated with O2. I have 2 pay monthly phones for my kids and been with O2 for years. Contacted them to see if I could get a discount similar to family plan but apparently because I’ve been with them more than 28 days I can’t have it. Ridiculous, why do new customer get better treatment. Will be leaving O2 as soon as I can!!

@Disgruntled  O2 stopped rewarding customers for their loyalty years ago. You can show your frustration by switching to a new provider, but just make sure your coverage is as good with the new one compared to what you have now before you switch. A good signal is far more important than saving a couple of quid.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@Disgruntled you can apply for family plan when you upgrade https://www.o2.co.uk/family-plan

Other available discounts here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/O2-Open-amp-Friends-and-Family-discounts-How-to-sign-up/...

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes apparently you need to apply for it in the first month but usually at point of sale is the best time to take it out. O2 seem to be very inflexible I'm afraid.
