No longer with O2, but getting emails

I've just left O2, but I'm still getting numerous emails with offers and apparently:

"Important information about your mobile airtime plan, Ian"

I don't have a mobile plan with you any more, stop sending me emails! No unsubscribe and I cannot remove my account, or even change my email address.

Any help would be appreciated.

@blandyuk

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

Are you absolutely certain that the e-mails are from O2 ?

Are they a scam ?

I am glad that there was not an "Unsubscribe" link because if there was and you had clicked on it, you might have caused yourself problems if the e-mail is not genuine.

There is no unsubscribe because it's not from a mailing list.

It's just O2 systems slow at catching up or being updated.

How do I know this is really from O2?
Real O2 emails always show the last four digits of your mobile number at the top. If an email doesn't, forward it to SPAM@o2.com and we'll investigate. There's more about phishing here.
