No access to Network

Hello. My phone says 'No access to network' which has never happened to me before. Is there an issue with o2's network? Anyone else with this problem? Or is it something to just do with me?

I can't even ring o2 to tell them! Any advice?

Why the hell can't we roam onto other networks when our own service provider isn't available? That's what happens when you go abroad. We pay for a service and they could provide us with that service if they really wanted to. I guess for all of us on contract, they've had their money already so they probably don't really care if they aren't providing a service. Might change their tune if people started defecting to other networks when their contracts run out. grin

Outsourcing to one call centre in India, I cant see it being as expensive as O2 operating, Manchester, Leeds, Bury, Glasgow.
Three in Mumbai operate at a cost which is more than 50% less if performed in the U.S or U.K

When you see the amount of mistakes an outsourced company makes, then you realise its not in a persons best interests. wink

But O2 already outsource their Customer Service - the people you speak to when you call don't work for O2 they work for a service provider in the UK called Ventura - but it would be more cost effective if O2 gave the business to a service provider in India - then we could have 24 hour coverage wink

i really dunno why so many are moaning, its very rare for o2 to be down, i have never had any issues with o2 and im pretty happy with there service,

Im on a sim only iphone deal which is 45 quid / month for unlimited mins and texts and internet what other provider can beat that.

its like every company virgin, bt, vodafone etc all have tech issues from time to time. i used to be on vodafone and when the weekends came there network was so jammed it was almost impossible to make a call.

o2 have a great network coverage.

id say stop moaning about a odd bit of time of there network being down. I can only imagine that o2 are stressed and annoyed of this aswell as everyone else.

maybe they would rather use all there resources to resolve issues then sit on here answering everyones messages.
