No Signal, ever!

I never get a phone signal at my home address, inside or out. I don’t live in a rural location. I have the o2 My Network app and it says I should have full 4/5g signal but never do. I keep reporting that I have no signal and just get a standard reply that the network has been checked and there are no issues. I would love for somebody from o2 to do something about this, I have been a customer for over 20 years now 😞

@GMNI - try some of the suggestions in:

Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?

Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

and

Guide: Do you have poor coverage / signal Indoors? This may help Explain / resolve it

Also as you seem to have wifi, possibly at home, investigate using WiFi Calling:

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/international-and-network/wifi/wifi-and-4g-calling

Note the settings for WiFi calling are enabled on all O2 Contract accounts now, and the IMEI chacker has been known to be wrong. The rest of the guide should work for you.

We are all customers here so can only offer advice.

There are several possibilities as to why?

Could be a faulty SIM card or maybe the handset

Could just be you are in a spot were signal is blocked and that won't show up on any maps

Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Guide: Do you have poor coverage / signal Indoors? This may help Explain / resolve it

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Thanks for replies! Yeah seems to be a black spot as neighbours have same issue. Have WiFi and use WiFi calling but it’s not great, doesn’t always work and can’t get sms, a lot of stuff comes via sms, confirmation codes etc. Just don’t think I should still be having this issue in 2025!

@GMNI I'm afraid it is the nature of radio communication.

I would try PAYG SIM cards from other networks and see what the is best in your location then swap.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
