New Phone Required!

Hello there everyone. Iam currently using quite an old Sony Ericcson W810i !!! Which after being a great servent, seems to be on its way out.

I have a bit of a problem on where I stand on obtaining a new mobile phone with O2. Iam currently an O2 customer, I pay £14.99 a month but Iam not 100% sure if this is still under a contract or not. Im also unsure of what I get for paying this amount per month, however it seems comfortable as I never get charged any extra for calls/texts/internet usage or anything like that.

So there we have it, any help from now on would be great!

Thanks in advance

If you log into My O2, (where you go to view your bill online). You will see what is included in your tariff.
Or give O2 a call and ask them to advise you.

Thanks the reply, I had some issues logging into O2 but I now can do it. It looks like my tariff is the Online simplicity 20.

So just now onto what mobile phone I should get, any idea what number is best I should contact O2 on about my issue ?

Thanks again

Im on simplicity 15 but this tariff is just for the sim usage and not a phone contract, afraid you will have to buy a phone, unless you can persuade o2 differently.

If you are or were on a Simplicity contract for 12 months, after 9 months you may well be entitled to a handset upgrade, depending on when you took it out.

Best to phone CS and check.

Chances are you are going to have to pay more each month.

To be honest I dont mind paying for a new handset just aslong as I get to stay on my current deal. Any recommendations for new handsets please ?

Cheers

If you want to stay on your current tariff, you will need to buy either a sim free phone, or a PAYG phone locked to O2, and put your sim in that.

Take a look around the online reviews for any that you are interested in.

a good place to look is here http://recombu.com/ you can do side by side comparisons of phones you like but first look at to o2 website to see what they stock.

They seem to cover everything I need from a phone. Does anyone know if they are any good ?
